Installing MIDlets with a PC-to-phone connection using installation software

Most phones have the ability to connect to a PC using a cable, infra-red port, or Bluetooth connection. If your phone connects to your PC in any of these ways, you may be lucky enough to have a special Java MIDlet installer program. If you do not have such a program, please try to locate one on your phone manufacturer's web site (Nokia users especially should be in luck here). Installation should be a simple matter of pointing the installer application to the application's JAD and JAR files (which you will have downloaded from this web site and saved to your PC) and choosing the "install" (or similar) option.

Note that to install using this method, you will first need to read Preparing a MIDlet for installation from your PC.
